ABOUT THE AUTHOR(S)
H. G. Wells (1866–1946) was born Herbert George Wells in Kent, England. He published his first novel, The Time Machine, in 1895. Through books like The Invisible Man and The War of the Worlds, he explored a wide range of social, philosophical, and political ideas and helped create the genre of science fiction.
