ABOUT THE AUTHOR(S)
Bernette Ford has written many books for children, including Nappy Duck and Potty Piggy and First Snow. Bernette worked as a children’s book publisher for many years and was one of the founding members of Black Creators for Children, which became an influential force in children’s publishing and a launchpad for many Black authors and illustrators.
